When I think of snails, the first things that come to mind are the snails I was creating houses for and playing family with my cousin when I was 5 years old or the ones I sometimes step into while walking somewhere. It's gross, isn't it? Oh, there is one more, I made a joke about the snails but I'm not going to share it just yet. (For those who know me, I know, it's so funny). My opinion

Toner is one of the first steps in the skincare routine. A light, rapidly absorbing emulsion prepares the skin for the next stages of care, facilitates the penetration of active ingredients inside your skin. This toner makes it happen. Also, I found out that the Korean way of applying toner makes it more powerful. I pour it on my hand, spread it lightly, and "push" it with my whole hands. It absorbs quickly, which is perfect! Also, after applying the product, the skin becomes deeply cleansed, elastic, regenerated, and incredibly smooth. I truly believe the toner together with the serum can fight the imperfections properly.

This serum caught my attention because it doesn't contain any harmful skin products. It means, no parabens, no phthalates, and no alcohol. Love it!

My opinion

Have you ever felt you’re banging your head against a wall looking for results? We've all been there. The amount of hype that has been assigned to this product makes you think that your skin would magically transform itself a day after applying it. However, every product needs at least 1-2 months of using, before you see any results. So keep calm and make sure it takes its sweet time before your judge it.

I use the serum after toner, twice a day. In the morning and the evening. I noticed the first results 2 weeks after using it. The texture of my skin was improved and it was hydrated and 'bouncy'. After a month of using it's even better, but I know I need to use the second tube to see the results I'd like to see. My hyperpigmentation is lightened a little bit, but I think it's mostly because I combine it with the Vit C serum.

The consistency is viscous. You can compare it to chia seed sludge or thinned-out egg whites. However, it loses its strict form under the influence of touch and warmth of the skin. It becomes a subtle and extremely smooth emulsion with above-average hydration potential. One or two pumps covers the epidermis with a thin, sufficient layer. In the final phase, the serum soaks almost completely into the skin, leaving pleasant protection on it that you don't feel at all.

How to use it

Make sure you don't rub the serum. Instead, tap it gently onto the skin until you feel it's absorbing. Also, don't forget to apply a moisturizer as the next step of your skincare routine. Just wait a moment for it to be absorbed and spread the second product. What’s the catch? The light, watery consistency of the serum will quickly evaporate from the skin and the cream will create a film that will prevent oxidation too quickly. The layered application will take care of all your skin's needs. In addition, it is worth to know that the serum usually has no anti-UV effect. This means that you must use sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.
